Think the teachers at your school are bad? Well just wait until you meet this lot!
For the past three years, children's author David Walliams has been entertaining kids with his stories about the world's nastiest, greediest, windiest and absolute WORST children in his entertaining and bestselling trilogy.
But if you thought that they were all horrible, then you haven't seen anything yet, as David's latest book takes kids on an entertaining ride to meet ten of the world's worst teachers.
If your kids have already read the books in David's World's Worst Children series, they'll enjoy this one.
Kids will enjoy meeting characters like Doctor Dread, the hideous science teacher who forces naughty children to sit in his Chair of a Thousand Farts, Miss Splatt, the dinner lady feared for her disgusting school lunches, and Mr and Mrs Lovey-Dovey, who, as their names suggest, are sickeningly in love with each other.
As with all of David's books, this one is full of his signature brand of humour, like when he says that long division is actually used as a form of torture in some countries, or when he claims to have his own perfume called 'A Wiff of Walliams'.
There are also plenty of funny pictures done by the talented Tony Ross that kids will enjoy as well, like the picture of Dr Dread with a 'Beware, toxic gas' sign stuck to his back for a joke, or the picture of Miss Spick the librarian on her Trike of Terror (the name of her souped-up mobility scooter).
Overall, this is another entertaining collection of stories about some very terrible teachers, perfect for fans of David and his work.
