Just like the other books that Rick's written, there are heaps of characters, gods, and monsters from both Greek and Roman legends that kids will enjoy finding out about, like Chiron, the former trainer of Hercules, or Nike, who, aside from being the name of a famous sports brand, is also known as the Greek goddess of victory.

Of course, there is also plenty of action for kids to enjoy as well, as Apollo and his band of heroes fight their way across America so Apollo can complete his quest.

There's also a surprise at the end for Percy Jackson fans, as Rick's included a bonus adventure featuring the heroic young demigod, Percy Jackson and the Sword of Hades.

Overall this is an entertaining and action-packed adventure story, perfect for fans of Rick Riordan's mythological adventures.
