If your kids have read Rhys Darby's first book featuring Buttons and his friends, they'll enjoy this one. There are two books in this series so far, and this one is the second.

Just like with the last book, Rhys has filled this one with heaps of his signature humour, like when Buttons is robbed by the Notorious Nana Gang (who are wanted for claw poaching and cheek pinching).

There are also plenty of Rhys's funny illustrations as well, like Buttons's frequent expedition logs (which are represented with a picture of an actual log).

And of course, there are lots more Morse code messages for Buttons that kids will enjoy trying to crack using the included key.

Overall this is another fun adventure story for kids, and perfect for fans of Buttons and his adventures.
