Everyone's favourite digger is back, and heading back to school.
In the forth book in Betty Gilderdale's classic series, the little yellow digger has an important job to do: digging a new swimming pool for a local primary school. But when the digger accidentally hits an underground pipe and leaves the school without water, the class gets an unexpected field trip...
If your kids are obsessed with construction vehicles, then this book will be perfect for them. There are five books in total in this series, and this one is the forth.
Told in simple rhyming style, kids will enjoy hearing about the mess the broken pipe causes, as well as how the digger and his driver fix the damage.
And as always, kids will enjoy seeing all of Alan Gilderdale's signature illustrations, especially the teacher and principal getting knocked over by the gushing water!
There's also a secret challenge for kids as well, as there's a black cat somewhere in most of the pictures. Can your kid find it?
Overall this is another classic Kiwi story from an award-winning author, and an absolute essential for your child's bookshelf.
