The treehouse is back, and bigger than ever
In their third adventure in this popular series, Andy and Terry have a tight deadline from their publisher, Mr Big Nose, for their latest book (tomorrow afternoon, or else!), but, as usual, they haven't finished it yet.
Terry however, has come up with a new invention, the Once-Upon-a-Time Machine, which he says will be able to write and illustrate a whole book without him or Andy having to do anything!
But when the machine kicks them both out of the treehouse when it thinks it can write a better book than Andy and Terry, the duo have a new problem. Will Professor Stupido, the world's greatest un-inventor, be able to help them, or will he only end up making things worse?
If your kids have read the first two books in this series, then they'll enjoy this one.
Just like the last two, there are lots of crazy and imaginative new features in the treehouse, like an active (but non-erupting) volcano, Andy and Terry's Believe It...Or Else! museum, and a elephant boxer named The Trunkinator, who can knock someone out with just one punch using his trunk.
There are also lots of funny illustrations from Terry, as always, which help to tell the story as well, like the double-page spread of the new treehouse levels, or when Terry is showing off his new invention to Andy (which stretches over a full five pages).
Overall, this is another funny, inventive story from a talented duo, and the third in a wildly popular series.
