When Terry tries to tell his own story like Andy does, things quickly go wrong...
In Andy's latest novel featuring his and Terry's ever-expanding treehouse, Terry is fed up of just doing the illustrations while Andy does the narration, so Andy reluctantly lets Terry make up his own story to see if he can do it better.
But it turns out Terry is a terrible narrator, and his dumb dot story soon sends the Story Police to the treehouse, who arrest and charge Andy, Terry, and their friend Jill with multiple crimes against storytelling.
Will the trio be able to escape jail AND write a proper story before Mr Big Nose's latest deadline?
If your kids have read the other books in Andy and Terry's Treehouse series, then they'll enjoy this one. There are nine books so far in this series, and this one is the latest.
Just like with the other books, Andy and Terry have upgraded their amazing treehouse with a whole bunch of new levels, including an underpants museum, a giant-fighting-robot arena, and a photo-bombing booth, which kids will enjoy reading about.
The story is, as always, filled with Andy's signature humour, especially with the other books that have caught the attention of the Story Police, like Dr Moose's The Splat in the Hat, Beatrix Potty's The Tale of Little Peter Poopypants, and Boris Bendback's Where the FIled Things Are.
There are also plenty of Terry's funny illustrations as well, which help to tell the story just as much as the words, like the double-page picture of the treehouse visitor's centre, or the different types of underpants on display at the underpants museum.
Overall, this is another great story by a talented duo, and perfect for fans of Andy and Terry's crazy treehouse misadventures.
