A new adventure with the Wimpy Kid's best friend as the star!
In the second book in the Wimpy Kid spin-off series, Greg Heffley's best friend Rowley has written a new adventure story! With his best friend Garg the Barbarian (aka Greg), by his side, will Roland be able to save his mother from the clutches of the evil White Warlock?
Roland and Garg's journey won't be easy, as they must brave many dangerous locations, including the Mines of Murlock, the Tangled Forest, and the Ogre Mounds.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, Rowley shows his new story to Greg at the end of each chapter, but of course, it dosen't take Greg long to see the money-making opportunities for Rowley's new book...
There are also plenty of Jeff's signature stick-figure illustrations in the book too, such as when Garg gets turned to stone by Medusa.
If you've read Rowley's first diary adventure, or any of Greg's as well, then you'll enjoy this story.
Overall, this is a fun fantasy adventure set within a familliar and much-loved world, and perfect if you're a fan of Greg and Rowley's adventures.
