The legend of Robin Hood continues in Robert Muchamore's latest adventure.
Note: This book is recommended for readers aged 13 and over.
Reasons: Violence, offensive language and mature themes.
Hiding out in Sherwood Forest with the outlaw community and with a bounty on his head, 12 year-old Robin is still determined to strike back against the Sheriff of Nottingham. While his brother Little John adjusts to his new life in Sherwood Castle, Robin begins to devise plans to hack their computer system and sabotage Sheriff Marjorie's annual trophy hunt...
As always, Robert has managed to update the timeless legend of Robin Hood for the modern age, including re-imagining Sherwood Castle as a first-class hotel and casino for the elite.
There is plenty of action in Robin's latest adventure as well, such as when he has to fight his way out after a midnight robbery goes badly wrong.
And as always, there are a few subtle nods to Robert's CHERUB and Rock War series too, including an appearance by a certain animal rights group who join Robin in his adventures.
If you've read Robin's previous adventure in Robert's first book, you'll enjoy this one. There are two books in the series so far, with more on the way.
Overall, this is a fun modern-day retelling of a classic legend, and perfect if you're a fan of Robert and his books.
