Robin Hood is back, and in more trouble than ever...
Note: This book is recommended for readers aged 13 and up.
Reasons: Violence and mature themes.
When the Sheriff of Nottingham sends out a special forces team to find and capture Robin Hood, he and Marion Maid are forced to hide out in the swamplands of the Eastern Delta. All Robin has to do is lay low until the coast is clear, but everything changes when he and Marion stumble across a major people-smuggling operation...
As always, Robert has breathed new life into the classic legend, as this Robin Hood has gadgets including a homemade drone signal jammer and explosive-tipped arrows.
There are also plenty of exciting action sequences you'll enjoy as well, such as when Robin finds himself without his signature bow in a dangerous situation.
And of course, if you've already read Robert's other series (CHERUB and Rock War), you're in for a treat, as there are a few Easter eggs from those series that you might be able to catch...
If you've read about the adventures of Robin Hood in Robert's last two books, you'll enjoy this one, the third and latest in the series.
Overall this is a fun and action-packed revamp on a timeless story from a master in teenage fiction, and a must if you're a fan of Robert's signature brand of adventure.
