An entertaining story collection from a very talented author.

For the first time ever, all the characters from James Patterson's kids books come together for a very special task: to get more kids excited about reading with a huge storytelling festival! But when a small mistake quickly turns major, everyone has to work together to keep things moving and save the festival from being shut down.

If you've read any of James Patterson's other Middle School stories, you'll enjoy this latest one. James is passionate about getting kids excited about reading, and it certainly shows in this book.

As well as the main plot, this book also features James' most popular characters, including Rafe and Georgia Katchadorian from the Middle School series, Jamie Grimm from the I Funny series and the Kidd siblings from the Treasure Hunters series, starring in 10 exciting short stories.

There are plenty of highlights in these stories that you'll enjoy as well, such as when Rafe finds himself in over his head as a substitute art teacher, or when Isaiah the lab mouse and his human friend Hailey have to outwit an exterminator who's looking for Isaiah's family.

And as with all of James' other books for kids, there are heaps of funny pictures as well, such as when Rafe is imagining that he's an astronaut captured by an alien spaceship (when he actually got in trouble for skateboarding in the hall).

Overall this is a entertaining crossover novel with a positive message at its heart, and perfect for fans of James Patterson and his books.
