Andy is up to mischief again, and no-one is safe...
In this collection of ten short stories, a young Andy (sometimes with the help of his best friend Danny) spends his time playing tricks on just about everyone, including pretending to be dead to get out of going to school, dressing up as a gorilla to embarrass his older sister Jen on her birthday, and pretending that corn relish is actually vomit to make an old lady move seats on a plane.
If your kids have read any of Andy's other misadventures, like his popular Treehouse series, then they'll enjoy this book.
There are eight books in total in this series, but this is not only the first book in this series, but also the first kids book that Andy wrote, which I think makes it an absolute classic.
Kids will enjoy reading all about the different tricks that Andy plays on his unsuspecting family and friends, especially as most of them end up backfiring on him.
And of course, the talented illustrator Terry Denton has a lot of fun with all of his crazy pictures and cartoons in the page margins, which kids will enjoy just as much as the main stories.
Overall this is a funny and madcap collection of tales from a born storyteller, and an absolute must for fans of this author.
