Oh, no! It's a disaster! Grandpa is stuck in the swing set!
The grandchildren have heaps of fun when Grandpa, a big kid at heart, takes them to the newly-upgraded park one day, especially when Grandpa jumps into the child-sized swing set! But when Grandma announces dinner and Grandpa realizes he can't get out, will anyone be able to to help him?
Told in simple rhyming style by Grandpa's three grandchildren, this is a fun story that demonstrates, quite literally, why you should always look before you leap!
There's a lot of humour in the grandchildren's day out, especially when the children can't stop laughing when Grandpa gets the giggles after being stuck.
The talented Lael Chisholm has had a lot of fun with the illustrations too, especially with the simple but expressive character faces of Grandpa, his grandchildren and Grandma.
If your kids like going on adventures with their own grandparents, they'll enjoy this story from this new award-winning author.
Overall, this is a fun rescue story with a loveable Grandpa at its center, and perfect for children who enjoy spending time with their own grandpas too.
