Everyone's favourite dog-gone hero is back in his second adventure!
It's Chief's birthday at the police station, but the celebrations get put on hold when a call comes in about a robbery at the pet store. However, when Petey the cat hears about the robbery as well, Dog Man must unmask the thief and stop Petey from getting his revenge.
If your kids have read any of Dog Man's other adventures, they'll enjoy this one. There are seven books in this series so far, and this is the second.
Just like with the Captain Underpants series, there is lots for kids to enjoy in this story, including crazy inventions, heaps of rude humour, and of course, lots of Flip-O-Rama action sequences.
There's also a lot for adults to appreciate as well, as there are plenty of big words like 'obnoxious'. 'impostor' and 'levitated', which will help to expand your child's vocabulary while they read about Dog Man.
You also don't need to worry if you haven't read the first book as well, as there's an introduction at the start detailing the events of the last book, and a bonus comic as well, called 'Dog Man and the Wrath of Petey'.
Overall, this is another funny adventure story from a talented author, perfect for fans of Dog Man and his adventures.
