An old enemy returns in Dog Man's latest adventure.

When the evil scientist Dr. Scum unleashes his army of robots and tries to take over the city, it's up to Dog Man and the Supa Buddies to stop him! Will Dog Man, Li'l Petey the kitten and 80-HD the robot be able to stop Dr. Scum before it's too late?

If your kids are fans of Dav Pilkey's newest superhero, they'll enjoy this story. There are seven books in this series so far, and this one is the latest.

I also think that this book will be a good choice if kids like reading, but aren't fans of big chapter books.

Told entirely in graphic novel format, with lots of pictures and speech bubble dialogue, this is an exciting superhero story featuring a very unique hero (since Dog Man has a dog's head and a policeman's body).

There's also no need to worry if you haven't read any of the other books in this series, as there's always an introduction featuring Dog Man's origin story, and a recap of what happened in the last book.

And as always, parents can get behind this series as well, as it's full of big words like 'anarchist', 'nefarious' and 'vigilant', which will help to grow kids' vocabulary while they read about Dog Man's adventures.

Overall, this is another action-packed entry in a popular series, and a must for fans of this author.
