A tropical vacation for the Heffleys turns out to be anything but relaxing...
Hoping to avoid the cold weather and the stress of Christmas, Greg Heffley's family decides to go on holiday to a tropical island resort. But with everything going wrong the moment the Heffley family step off the plane, will they be able to turn things around and make it a holiday to remember?
If your kids have read any of the other Diary of a Wimpy Kid books, then they'll enjoy this one. There are 13 books in this series so far, and this one is the twelth.
If you've also been on a holiday like Greg's where nothing seems to go right, then you'll enjoy this book as well.
Just like with the previous books, there are lots of funny and embarrassing situations for the Heffley family, like when Greg's dad gets a stomach bug from the tropical water, or when Greg thinks he swallowed a seahorse while snorkelling, that kids will enjoy reading about.
And of course, there are heaps of funny pictures in Jeff's signature stick-figure style, for kids to enjoy as well.
Overall this is another entertaining entry in a popular series, perfect for fans of Greg Heffley and his various misadventures.
