Underwearing, but far from underwhelming
Professor Pippy P. Poopypants may be one of the greatest scientists New Swissland has ever seen. Unfortunately his name is so silly that it's too hard for all the universities around America to take him seriously.
When he accepts a job as the science teacher at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, Professor Poopypants thinks he's finally found a place where he can get treated with respect.
However, when a certain pair of pranksters (ie, George and Harold) make a new Captain Underpants comic about him, it just might be enough to push the Professor over the edge and drive him to take over the world! Can Captain Underpants save the day?
Kids who have read any of the other books in this series (12 books so far) are bound to enjoy this, the fourth.
Just like the other books in the Captain Underpants series, it's full to the brim with pranks, rude humour (this time, coming from silly names like Fluffy Toiletnose and Cheeseball Wafflefanny), secret adult references (this time related to Cher and Oprah) and of course, interactive Flip-O-Rama action sequences.
There's a lot to appreciate from an educational perspective too, as it's filled with big words like 'foreboding', 'resignation', and 'inevitable', which will help build your child's vocabulary while they read about Captain Underpants.
In conclusion, this is a funny, action-packed superhero story, perfect for fans of Captain Underpants and his adventures.
