Nate's got lucky! But how long will it last?
Nate Wright isn't having the best luck. In fact, it seems that nothing seems to be going right for him lately. First his social studies homework gets ruined, then he accidentally hits Principal Nichols in the head with an empty water bottle, and blows a hole in one of the library's beanbag chairs!
But when Nate's friend Chad lends him his lucky (plastic) foot, everything changes, and suddenly, it seems that Nate can do no wrong! But the big question is, how long will Nate's good luck last?
If your kids have read any of Big Nate's other adventures (eight in total), then they'll enjoy this one, the sixth in the series.
Just like the other books in this series, this one is full of Nate's trademark dry humour (like when Nate thinks that the school's new healthy snacks look more like bird food), secret messages written in code to crack, and of course, lots of Nate's comics and cartoons for kids to enjoy (this time featuring characters like Dan Cupid, the well-meaning but dim-witted 'love consultant'), and Nate's fictional superhero alter-ego, Ultra-Nate (and his new sidekick, Mega-Chad!).
Overall, this is another great story from a talented writer, perfect for fans of Nate and his misadventures.
